The Last Video I Made/ Regarding my natural hair

Hello Everyone,

I realized it's been a little while since I've posted anything. I posted this video a few weeks ago on Youtube. Yet, I did not share it anywhere. Although it is an old video I really wanted to share it here.

My hair has come a long way. Well, I think so anyway. Being that I am so used to perming my hair and putting heat to it all of the time.

I can no longer do my hair myself. Being that I've been having issues with my hands. I'd like to share the fact that I did however utilize the treatment CardiB shared before(a mixture of avocado, banana, castor oil, mayonnaise, 2 eggs, honey, and argan oil ). I wish I could find the original video from when she made it.   . And I believe it has helped me strengthen my hair along this natural hair journey.

Now it's not long as ever but it has I think gotten back to my shoulders. After several sets of braids.

This is From when I first cur the perm and the dead ends off.

This is when I did the hair mask.

This is the second set of braids I had gotten done.

This is the last set of braids I had done.

And this is where I am now.

I'm broke so unless someone is nice enough to donate to my cashapp (over on the right). My hair will be looking a hot mess. The braids I did have my aunt and my gramma was nice enough to pay for me to get done. And I'm not sure they'll be nice enough to do so again.

Please keep in mind I'm able to get my blogs done either utilizing one hand(so, it takes me some time). Or speech to text.
If you've taken the time and read this far in, thank you, I really appreciate you, and I hope you follow and or subscribe to my blog and my Youtube page!

What is Something that you Enjoy/enjoyed Doing?

Mine was Photography growing up. Although now I really enjoy reading. My focus here will be on photography.

Bare with me. I have not I'm not feeling well( my Ms has been starting to flare). This was just on my mind. With that being said I just had to share it with you all. Please, keep an open mind and share what you enjoy doing as well. Or what you enjoy or have enjoyed doing.

In my second semester of college, I took a photography class. I really enjoyed learning some parts of the assignments that he'd given us. From that class, I was able to appreciate the art that is photography more. The art of photography is very tedious. Although the end result can be beautiful.

Now the professor that I had was a jerk. Not wanting to take his time with me. Yet, I took my camera at the time a Sony (before I broke it), and went to school every day. Until he embarrassed me(I can't remember exactly what he said it's been too long)  and I stop going to school altogether.

And, I'm not sure if that was because I was much older than the other students at the time; at which point he expected much more out of me.

Up until that point, I had been out of school for years. And I had two older children and a toddler, and I was also working a full-time job. My children were my main priority! So, rather than make a big fuss or push the issue I just gave up. Which I kind of regret now. Well not being able to stay in that class anyway!

Let me add that my decision to stop going to school was not because of that professor. I had to do what I had to do as a parent at the time. Somehow, I was in a relationship but a single parent if that makes sense. But that is another story for another blog post(I may or may not share who knows?).

I haven't been able to do much lately. Other than read and take photos when I can. Well as much as my health will allow. If you'd like to see the ones I share the link is below. As well as on the side if you get to the web version(my wish list is there as well if you'd like to get me a real camera😉).

I said all of that to say; what was something you enjoy/enjoyed doing?

Do you still do it?

Do you plan on getting back into it?

Or have you started getting back into it already?

Do you sell it?

Or just do it for enjoyment?

A hobby, job, or just something you generally love doing? Please take a moment and respond in the comments!

We want Justice /Violence is not the Answer

At this point I'm sure we all want justice. I'm just saying from the videos that I've seen on social media; how they are going about it, is not the way we need to be trying to go about tying to getting it.

Please find a way to do it in a more peaceful
& positive way! (Being violent) Is  not going to do anything but result in more hurt people. and we already have enough going on with the Covid19. Which might I add people are still dying from.

My prayers go out to the family members of the young men as well as then young woman who've was killed these past few weeks( I didn’t want those to go unnoticed). And I hope that they get the justice they deserve!

They’re Still Pushing Through

The first photo was taken of them when things weren't as bad as they are now.
I was able to function a lot better. Even though there are smirks on two of the three of their faces(which most of the photos they take are) it was a better place in time for us.
I was working as I was all of the time(from the age of 16). Up until I was taken out of work in October of 2018. This particular photo was taken one Christmas when we were celebrating with family.

The Next photo I set up was also a Christmas celebration with family(even though it was not all of us). I had to ask for as a Christmas present. Another challenge although the same results. I wouldn't change for the world.I just wanted to share something that means so much to me with you all .

These three have rocked out with me through the best of times and now at my worst. With minimal complaints. Just know sick and all how’d the kids used to say it “it’s whistles for you over them”!

I hope you understand and enjoy I much as I do.
